In the course of our business activities, we process personal data of various individuals (e.g., website users, prospective customers, and clients). Information about the purposes and legal bases for processing, as well as further details, is provided in the respective sections below, categorized by the specific processing situations.

Recipients
Depending on the specific processing situation, your personal data may not only be processed by the data controller but also by third parties. Possible recipients include processors (e.g., web hosting providers, software vendors, and other technical service providers) and third-party providers of online services and content. Further details can be found in the respective processing descriptions.

Transfers to Third Countries
As a rule, we process your personal data exclusively within the EU. Any potential data transfers to third countries will be communicated separately as necessary.

Data Retention Period
Personal data is stored as long as required to fulfill its purpose, as legally mandated, or as justified by other legal reasons.

Data Subject Rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR) information about the personal data we store about you, including potential recipients and planned retention periods. If the stored data is incorrect, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR). Under applicable legal conditions, you may request deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) or restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) of data processing and object to the processing of your data (Art. 21 GDPR).

If you believe the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority of your choice (Art. 77 GDPR).

Right to Object
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Processing Situations

Website Usage
Our online offerings serve to provide information about our company and services, to establish or facilitate contractual relationships, and to communicate and interact with customers and prospective clients.

For these purposes, we also process personal data. The scope and legal basis of data processing depend on the services requested, the browser configuration, and any consents provided.

Web Technologies (Cookies & More)
To improve communication and interaction with our customers and optimize the user experience, we use various software solutions and web technologies, including third-party tools for web analytics and marketing, as well as services for integrating third-party content such as fonts, maps, or videos.

Analytics tools gather, measure, and analyze data points like visitor numbers, sources, visited pages, time spent on the site, or scroll depth. Marketing tools allow for targeted execution and analysis of marketing activities (ad campaigns, affiliate marketing, multi-channel analysis).

The use of such tools often requires user consent under ePrivacy and data protection laws. We use a consent management tool (CMT) to obtain and manage the necessary consents under § 25(1) TDDG and, if applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Detailed information about the consents and corresponding data processing is available directly via the CMT.

If consent is not required, data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the described purposes, which also represent our or our partners’ legitimate interests. Collecting data to provide the website and store log files is essential for the site’s operation.

Consent Management Tool
We use a Consent Management Tool (CMT) for managing consents. When you visit our website, a CMT cookie is set to store the consents given for individual services and control the activation or deactivation of functionalities.

The CMT is used to collect and document the required consents in compliance with our legal obligations. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

The CMT is provided by a service provider processing the data on our behalf. The data is stored until you delete the cookie. For details about data processing by the CMT, please refer to the tool’s user interface.

Contact Requests
If you contact us via our contact forms or email, we process your personal data to respond to your inquiry or handle your request. This is generally based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to fulfill fundamental business interests, particularly corporate communication.

Contract-related communication necessary to perform a contractual relationship with you or pre-contractual measures based on your request is additionally processed under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
